Feeling Weird

Uncategorized

It was another hot one today and I should have taken the kiddos here:

Instead, we went to the park and all three of us were drenched in sweat within 15 minutes.  It was much hotter in North Carolina, but people don’t really go outside during the day there, so it just seems hotter here.  I’m really looking forward to fall weather this year!

I woke up with a jolt at 7 this morning and felt really strange.  Something is definitely off with my body this week.  I took some Aspirin and watched the news with Matt, and felt normal by 8.  So, I ventured to the gym and discovered there were all new Expresso bikes (these are the stationary bikes where you can select a trail and then you guide an avatar on the screen while you’re exercising)!  I was pretty excited because almost all the old ones were broken or did weird things when I rode them.  I spent 30 minutes on a hilly country road and then came home for a variation on my usual yogurt bowl.  This one included ‘baked’ apples and frosted shredded wheat.

I babysat for about 3 hours and had an AB + Jam with a banana and pretzels for lunch.  I’m getting a bit tired of eating lunch out of my purse, so I’ll be excited to pack real lunches again in a few weeks!

I got this very strange and sharp back pain out of nowhere when I was walking to work this morning, so I’m just taking it easy this afternoon and hanging out at home.

Tuesday dinners are now ‘eat whatever I can find night’ as Matt is taking an evening class this semester and it starts tonight! I’ll keep you updated…

PS: Is this black font easier to read?

PS2: I added a beer page!
