Just Peachy

Uncategorized

Hi guys.  How’s it going out there?

I was thrilled to wake up this morning feeling normal.  No back ache, no migraine, no cloud, no upset stomach; and just in time for my vacation in the AM.

Breakfast was bran flakes with peaches + coffee; exercise was climbing stairs .

I was so excited to pack my second to last purse lunch today!  The sammy consisted of ham + pepper jack with spicy mustard, by the way.

It was too hot to venture outdoors today, so babysitting activities included making ice cream and burgers with play dough and folding paper airplanes.

After babysitting, I was so happy to be feeling good (the past two weeks have just been one thing after another), that I practically pranced around the streets of Boston. My first stop was Staples where I peeked at the planner selection and  bought a large umbrella for our potentially very rainy vacation (don’t ask me why they are selling umbrellas at Staples, but they had a decent selection).  Then, I headed to a book store to do a little travel reading in preparation for our trip.

Dinner was a compilation of everything left in our house.  Corn on the cob, jalapeno chips, cantaloupe, and that orange log in the middle is a [slightly burned] habanero wrap…

…oozing with chunks of chicken, banana peppers, pineapple salsa, and pepper jack cheese.  It was pretty amazing.

I’ll be packing and planning for the rest of the night because we are departing (by car) first thing in the morning. For now, I’ll leave you with a hint as to where I’m going with this picture taken from the front of the travel guide 🙂

What a random dinner! I have those after I haven’t gone grocery shopping for quite some time.

Hope you enjoy your trip! Maybe you’ll find some more fun fall fashions wherever you’re going.
