Bring on the Weekend

Woohoooooo!!! Another week of adulthood down (not that I’m counting).

This week’s lineup:

Although I haven’t been good about laying out clothes, the whole dress like an adult but still feel comfortable and fashionable thing is going well. But, I may need to make a shoe purchase soon…

On Fridays, the departments take turns putting on a breakfast for all of the staff. Another intern and I decided to check it out and there was a pretty impressive spread, including a fun pistachio muffin.

While this tasted great, it unfortunately left me with a bad stomach ache, so I spent a good part of the morning suffering in my supervisor’s giant desk chair. A few hours later I didn’t really want lunch, but sometimes when I have an upset stomach moving on to the next meal actually helps. Friday fun lunch was a potato veggie masala burger with chips and the plum I didn’t eat at breakfast.

I’ve fully recovered and even made it to a spinning class this afternoon. Now, I’m showered and ready for whatever Friday evening has to offer. Bring on the weekend!

I love the outfit posts! And Friday was my favorite. Or Tuesday!

Love the Friday skirt. 99% of the time if I have a stomach ache, eating something is the right answer – I have no idea why it works, but maybe it just helps your body to move on? Whatever. Have a lovely weekend, lady!

I like the outfits posts too. I like trying to figure out if I was there when a certain item was purchased.

I definitely love the outfit posts too — Friday’s is really cute! I like the skirt and jacket combo. Figuring out how to keep workwear exciting is definitely a challenge because jeans just seem so comfortable compared to dress pants!

Thanks! I agree on the jeans vs dress pants…for some reason dress pants are just not as comfortable even though they are softer!!
