Meatballz

Hi guys,

I whipped up a little guac this afternoon for the girls book club meeting tonight!

The book was Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which I just couldn’t get through in time for the meeting. I still enjoyed the discussion, but after talking about the plot in-depth, I think I’ve had enough murder and sexual violence for now.

The gathering was a nice break in the middle of the week. I enjoyed lots of fun food, friends, and wine.

There were also a few appetizers involving cheese that I had to pass on:(

I heart Malbecs!

The host made Swedish meatballs since the novel is set in Sweden! Meatballs aren’t something I eat often, so I really enjoyed having something a little different for dinner.

Served with egg noodles and rolls!

The night ended with a dark chocolate covered caramel. Week night get-togethers are such a treat, but I’m pretty tired now. I managed to make it to a 6:30 spinning class this morning, and although it was awesome, it really wiped me out. I don’t know how people exercise in the morning more than one or twice a week.

Good night, sleep tight.

People always forget about meatballs, so when you end up serving them at a party or what have you, it’s comforting stuff, really.

Oh I love Swedish meatballs! When I go to Ikea and go to their main restaurant thingy, I always order up a dish! 🙂

I do have to say I love meatballs – in spaghetti, in sandwiches and just by itself.

I just realized how ridiculous my sentence reads! 🙂

Did you make it past page 110?

Nope…but I read the plot summary and it sounds like it would have been a fun mystery!
