The extra 45 minutes of sleep really made a difference today…or maybe it was the split second I fell asleep while babysitting this afternoon….oops. Either way, I made a lot of progress on a report and felt energized.

I had to babysat a little later than usual today so I packed this guy as an early dinner/snack.

But when Jon’s mom arrived home with a large pizza, I decided the pb and jelly could be saved for tomorrow:) I also had my very first dark chocolate covered joe-joe’s and fell in love.

I usually don’t workout on Wednesdays, but Matt was at the library for the evening so I decided better tonight than Friday when the sis is here, so I spent 40 minutes climbing stairs while watching the Northeastern intramural basketball finals. The stairclimbers overlook the court, so I sometimes play a shallow game where I chose the player I like best. Tonight’s finalist was chosen based on the following (hey, if guys can rate girls, I can choose a b-ball player:)

  • looks
  • athleticism/basketball talent
  • sportsmanship, (as judged by nonverbal interactions with teammates)

It got pretty exciting when my guy scored the wining point in the last second of the game, brining home the NU intramural title…got me pumped for basketball season…

I’m doing some last-minute cleaning in preparation for Kath & Kanz’s arrival and then hitting the sack. Tomorrow’s a half day!

Haha I love how you pick your favorite player, hysterical! I am so bad when it comes to sports so this reminds me of something I would definitely do.

I love how you picked a favorite and watched him win the game! I’m such a people watcher, too.

AH! I used to do the same thing! The baseball team was the only thing that got me out of bed in the mornings to go hit the eliptical! ….and the non-verbal sportsmanship is totally crucial..I’m glad you included that!
