Three Day Week

Uncategorized

Unexpected vacation days are sooo nice! I found out about the snow day around 7 and went right back to sleep for another hour. I didn’t have much planned at work today (because the students were supposed to take midterms), so I did not feel bad taking it easy alll day. I made Matt pancakes this morning, hit up spinning class at 10, and then cleaned, organized, and worked on my to-do list all afternoon. It was such a productive and enjoyable day, and I couldn’t help but think about how nice it used to be to have Fridays off every week:( It’s overwhelming to think that might not happen again until babies? Retirement?

Lunch at home was fabulous. I put together a salad made with blue cheese, corn, carrots, peppers, sweet potato fries, and blob of mango salsa.

She was dressed in olive oil, balsamic, lemon, and honey.

And I had this hunk to tie together all the sweet flavors.

I broke into these guys for a little lunch-time dessert. What an incredible invention!

Nothing like a three-day work week in the middle of January.

I have a friend that actually opened a Dale and Thomas store near my house! It was bad news. He would bring popcorn to EVERY event! haha

That’s my fav kind too, white choc and PB! I miss it.

This is a compliment not a dig- you are so fit and pretty you should wear more color and less black/gray!! I make the same mistake so I have to force myself to incorporate color into every outfit. It can really lift your mood!

I know, I know but I really like black! I’ll try and work on it for you:) I promise that my spring/summer and non-work clothes are more colorful!
