Time is of the Essence

Cooking

I’ve realized the four day work week is just perfect for me. Each snow day has left me feeling refreshed, productive, and well-rested. I’m much more efficient at writing reports when I’m home, so I’m finding that I can finish twice as much work in half the time without the distractions and un- pleasantries of sitting in an office. And when I can do work twice as fast, there’s more time in the day for the more meaningful things – time to live.

Another perk is that I don’t put off all the little chores until the Saturday, so I enjoy the weekend so much more.

Tonight I’m using my new found time to see a movie with friends (Black Swan!) and to catch the Duke game with Matt. I also spent some time in the kitchen making these little flatbread with baby bellas, pesto, apple chicken sausage, and Gruyère flatbreads.

Time to get to the movie. Goodnight.

Haha I totally agree. Working from home also seems to be a great way to go.. I need to figure out what job I’m qualified for that lets me do THAT. 😉

I simply can not tolerate another Duke loss. I will cry. Hope you enjoyed Black Swan!
