Glass of Red, Then Bed

Uncategorized

Sorry for the late post this evening. I was drinking wine at Sonsie with Matt and other students admitted to Duke’s MBA program. Fuqua hosted an event for Boston area admitted students as well as alumni and partners. It’s late, so I’m headed straight to bed, but I have a few notes on the evening:

1. I continue to be impressed with Sonsie. I was delighted to have a slice of the famous pumpkin pizza as well as a wonderful little cuban sandwich, a plentiful and varied cheese platter, and some of the best guac I’ve had to date.

2.The event was in the wine bar and I had two large glasses of a wonderful William Hill cabernet. This place really knows wine because every time I’ve been, I’ve had an incredible glass of red.

3. I’m blown away by Fuqua and I don’t even go there. Each time I meet people associated with the program, I get more and more excited to become part of such a welcoming and unique community. Matt’s a lucky man.

4. Time is moving so fast.
