Visit from a Leprechaun

Uncategorized

Hey, hey.

It may be rainy, but it’s warmin up out there! The day flew by and I got some of my more annoying, mindless work done today (e.g. scoring assessments). Babysitting was typical and included lots of battles with Star Wars characters.

Dinner was yet another TJ’s indian meal plus my beloved naan with butter. I’ve been on a real Indian kick since moving to Boston, and I’m worried I’m won’t be able to find the same quality of Indian food in Durham. I know they have a lot of cheapy ethnic buffets down there (I think I’ve been to every Chinese buffet within a 20 mile radius with with my dad), but I’m going to miss the cute upscale-ish Indian nooks that are dotted throughout Boston.

Oh, and look who stopped by for dessert!

He’s so cute I could eat him…

and I did!
Now I must go dig up something green to wear tomorrow. St. Patty’s day is a big deal up here, but unfortunately, I’ll be missing the parade this weekend so that I can hang out with with the fam. down in Baltimore for my Mom’s birthday. I’m hoping to sneak out for a beer to celebrate tomorrow night, but packing and getting organized for the weekend might have to take priority:(

How do you guys celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?

Oh don’t you worry about Durham not having a good Indian place…I’ve heard great things about Sitar Indian Cuisine from many of my friends. But, I do agree with you that Boston has one of the best selections!

I don’t celebrate it much anymore but I used to go out in college. It’s just way too difficult when it’s on a weekday! We had a few beers out last night though, so that was our celebration. I tried Southern Tier’s Gemini and fell in love!
