This has nothing to do with the wedding, but it made me think of you anyway– did you hear about the new beer place that opened in Kendal Sq?? It’s called Meadhalls and has 100 beers on tap, and more bottled!
It only opened about 3-4 days ago, so I can’t vouch for it, but their draft list looks awesome!
btw, I’m heading to Duke this fall, too (from Boston!)! I’m joining their Neuroscience program… any thoughts on beer down there? my boyfriend is worried that all we’ll have is Amstel and Miller!

I’m soo excited you’re going to Duke!! Lol about your boyfriend’s comment. I can assure you there’s more than light beer down there; the selection is actually pretty good! There’s two breweries right in Durham (Fullsteam and Triangle Brewing Co.) and there are some really good southern beers from the surrounding states. Definitely check out Tyler’s Tap Room as soon as you arrive and you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the selection and the prices.
