Inexperienced

Hi there and happy [end of] Monday!

I had a very nice day that ended in a special Monday treat. I got my fingers and toes painted in preparation for graduation on Friday! I am not a nail salon person, but it’s only because I’ve never had a real job and thus can not justify spending money on that type of thing regularly. But I do love feeling girly and put together! If you went with me to the nail salon you would totally be able to tell that I don’t go regularly.

Exhibit A – I wore skinny jeans and didn’t think anything of it. But, when I got there, I realized that I couldn’t really get the ankle part of the jeans over my enormous calves in order to roll them up. Embarrassing. I managed to get them up high enough so the lady could do the pedicure, but it took me a good five minutes to get them back down again.

Exhibit B – After one cycle under the nail dryer I grabbed my things and started to leave only to find two women yelling after me that my nails weren’t dry! How do people know these things?

Anyway, I have bright coral/orange fingers and toes now with a big smudge on my thumb!

I’m better with masculine things like beer. Matt and I split this one. I was light and refreshing, but nothing to write home about.
