Taking Back My Twenties

An Egg

Headache number two hit this afternoon, but I’m trying to remain upbeat! It was pouring today, so babysitting was a bit of a drag, but, I got to leave about 30 minutes early to attend a graduation reception that my department was hosting. You never know with these things, but there was actually a really good spread of cheeses, fruits, and little bites as well as a strawberry shortcake. I had a little bit of everything, but abstained from alcohol because of my head. Sadly, only two other people from my graduating class made an appearance. The three of us reminisced about our first class together and created a few superlatives:)

And, I came home and split this delightful peanut butter stuffed egg with Matt. A friend’s mother in law made these and sent her dozens for Easter. Nothing like homemade Easter candy.

Things are gonna get busy tomorrow, but I’ll be blogging about all the fun. I’m getting excited!

Any news out there?

PS: I got Massachusetts jury duty today…good thing I’m moving!

MMmm peanut butter stuffed eggs?? I need to recreate that! I feel your headache pain…I’ve been sick and dizzy for the last couple of days, and it’s not fun.

Feel better and have an awesome Cinco de Mayo!
