Places for Live Music

IMG_0911.JPG
  • The Beehive – make a late reservation for a seat in “the pit” and you’ll most likely hear a funky jazz band
  • The Burren – I’ve only been here once and the live music was great (much more alternative then the typical stuff at the Faneuill Hall bars below)
  • Faneuil Hall Bars – a bunch of them actually have fun live/dancing bands, but be prepared for lines. I’ve liked bands at the Bell in Hand, Hennessey’s, and Ned Divine’s

I have to add Atlantic Fish for upscale restaurants! I went to Boston and ate there on Valentine’s Day in 2010, and it was AMAZING! 🙂 I also like Tia’s for drinking on an outdoor patio 🙂

Oh my gosh I’ve been DYING to figure out where they have the pumpkin risotto!! I saw it on Eat Like Me one time and she didn’t mention where she got it. I’m so excited I know now so I can go this fall! 🙂

Thanks so much for doing this, now I know I have to try some of these places.

@Lee – I agree on Atlantic Fish, and would recommend it over Legal’s based on my experiences.

I love this post! I live in Boston and am happy to say that I’ve dined at, been to and/or agree with most of your locations! Eastern Standard (Kenmore area) and Stregga Waterfront are two of my new favorite restaurants! and Papagaya on Summer street is an amazing new mexican restaurant!
