Today was another long day of unpacking and driving around the Triangle trying to find all the things we need. My sickness finally turned into a runny nose, so I’m feeling a lot better, aside from the fact that I haven’t slept much in days. Tomorrow I will finally sleep in!
Matt and I were able to make a nice trip to Whole Foods and we enjoyed corn on the cob and local chicken sausages before walking over to Tobacco Road to catch the action on the baseball field. I guess the best of the high school baseball players were playing the best of the college players? It was obviously a blow out.
We didn’t pay too much attention to the action because we were busy studying the awesome list of NC beers! I got a Mother Earth Weeping Willow, which was a very nice white belgian ale. Love the southern beer scene!!

And then there was a full fireworks show in honor of America!
We were too tired for a second round, but enjoyed a leisurely walk home and spotted some fun-looking bars in our neighborhood. Can’t wait to try another one tomorrow. Night.

I've created this blog because I'm in a bit of a quarter life crisis. Since graduating from college in 2008 and earning an advanced degree in school psychology in May, I still don't know what career path to follow. All I know is that time is moving way too fast and I find myself living only for the weekends. Bear with me as I attempt to reclaim my twenties by finding pleasure and balance in the work week and incorporating my passions of food, fashion, fitness, and fun into everyday life.
