I’m so in love with the south. 65 degrees in January? I had a faculty meeting this afternoon. I had been dreading it, but felt better after tasting the chocolate chip cheese ball someone brought!! I also got out an hour early, leaving time for a nice stroll in the sunshine. I always say I’m going to skip exercise and just take a walk, but I never actually go. I’m always glad when I do. Especially because my neighborhood has tons of craftsmen bungalows to dream about.
Fish tacos on the menu tonight. I used cod, soaked it in butter, and blackened it with my special Williams Sonoma seasoning. Topped with corn relish and avocado, these were perfect for today’s warm temperatures. (Although, I will go back to tilapia because I was not a fan on the cod – too fishy!)
I’m off to go see the musical Memphis. Anyone seen it? I’m quite excited, but will probably loose some sleep since it’s not supposed to end until 10-ish. I hope the music is good. Adios:)

I've created this blog because I'm in a bit of a quarter life crisis. Since graduating from college in 2008 and earning an advanced degree in school psychology in May, I still don't know what career path to follow. All I know is that time is moving way too fast and I find myself living only for the weekends. Bear with me as I attempt to reclaim my twenties by finding pleasure and balance in the work week and incorporating my passions of food, fashion, fitness, and fun into everyday life.
What’s a chocolate chip cheese ball? I think I might like to have one at every meeting I attend…
It was like a big ball of cheesecake with nuts on the outside
Have fun at Menphis–been dying to see it myself. Let me know how it is!
