An Hour

Happy hour: one hour of pure relaxation achieved through friends and alcohol.

A glass of Riesling for me!

After lots of conversation, I was hungry and tired! So I avoided cooking and got one of my favorite salads from Nosh. It’s loaded with bacon, egg, and clusters of candied walnuts.

Eaten in record time in front of the TV and washed down with puffins and jelly beans. Oh yeah.

I finished my book – How To Eat A Cupcake! It was a quick read and I’d recommend it to others. It wasn’t incredible, but sure got me thinking about lots of things (including opening a cupcake shop and moving to San Francisco!)

What should I read next???

If you’re in the mood for some fiction:

Ahem. 50 Shades of Grey. It is scintillating. 🙂

The Stephanie Plum novels are fun reads, and being that there around 18 in the series, you’ll have something to turn to for awhile.

And I also just found a new series, The Spellman Files, which is pretty hilarious!

Have you read American Wife? If not, it’s a really good read.

I couldn’t remember and looked it up, and yes, I loved it!

Agree with American Wife, I LOVED that one. But more recently, I read the Violets of March and was in love. SO good.

Getting through The Night Circus now and i’m enjoying a quick read 🙂

The Glass Castle is one of my favorites, ever. It really sticks with you and is both hilarious and heartwarming at the same time.

Try The Art of Fielding by Chad Harbach. I have yet to meet someone who read it and didn’t love it.
