Dallas Highlights

Travel Twenties

Heyy,

I’m back from a fabulous girls weekend in Dallas. It certainly wasn’t a restful weekend, but it was so.much.fun. I’ve been to Dallas a couple of times, but I feel like I got to know the city a bit better this time and I just loved the vibe of Uptown. My friend Liz was such a fantastic host! So without further ado – some weekend highlights:

Mambo Taxis [sangria + frozen margarita] and the most amazing shrimp tacos with Liz & Liz and her sweet parents at Mi Cocina:

Being reunited with the girls and then having everyone in the bar stare when Liz ordered six beer-ritas in gigantic glasses [soooo good btw]:

Walking with water bottles full of grapefruit mimosas to an urban park downtown:

Cocktails at a rooftop bar!:

The Harvest Special – maker’s mark, pumpkin beer, vanilla, nutmeg:

An epic dinner at Cedars Social that involved 15 small plates, dessert, a punch bowl, and one large stomach ache [so worth it]:

Occupying the dance floor for hours despite a snobby DJ who refused to play any of our ‘mainstream’ requests:):

And an almond butter, jelly, and caramelized banana quesadilla that blew my mind at brunch.

I feel so lucky that I got to spend the weekend with people who make me feel so alive [until I stay up until four and feel dead] – this gathering got me pumped to be reunited with a giant group of friends at my very own wedding:)
Thanks to Liz for hosting!!
