Thoughts from a Thursday

Ramblings Travel

  • The thing I’m looking forward to the most this weekend is sleeping past seven.
  • Now that the pumpkin roll, apple crisp, and white chocolate peppermint popcorn are finally gone, maybe I can stop pigging out after dinner.

  • I firmly believe there are ‘easy’ and ‘hard’ treadmills. Since my gym got new ones, I’ve shaved a minute off my mile time with absolutely no effort. Why?
  • I’m so so bad at cleaning my shower. How do people get them to be spotless? I’ve tried all kinds of cleaners, but the crevices are too hard to clean!
  • If you like to hunt and happen to shoot a deer, please do not post it on Facebook. I’d rather not see a large bleeding animal on my newsfeed.
  • I’m off to visit my grandmother this weekend! I’ve leave you with this email exchange:

I used Kaboom Oxi Clean. I hate that it’s such a strong toxic thing, but it’s the only thing I’ve found that actually removes soap scum :\ I ONLY use that for shower/bath tub, and use green cleaners for the rest of the house.

Best shower cleaner: Warm one cup of white vinegar in microwave and add it to a spray bottle. Add equal amount of blue original Dawn dish soap into bottle. Spray shower and leave for several hours. Most soap scum washes away without effort, but I also scrub a bit. I love how environmentally friendly it is and how easily it works!

    1. That looks like an amazing rib(?). And if it’s not a rib, I want to know what it actually is.
    2. We just had our work cookie exchange and I’m doing an exchange with my girlfriends next weekend. I am officially on a regimen where I have to eat at least one cookie a day to make sure that they don’t overrun my freezer. Solidarity, sister.
