Thoughts from a Tuesday

Life Ramblings The Working World

Exercise used to be my time to clear my head – now it’s the time that my to-do list fills my head and ruins my me time.

We’ve been eating giant salads over here, because they are quick and easy and good for wedding bodies.

Work got crazy this week, which can be expected for this time of year – what is it about the end of school and kids acting crazy?

Sleep and I are BFF.

I’m going to the Lantern tomorrow night and I’m so pumped. We also have a dance lesson – is it bad that I’m not as pumped?

I love this weather, and all the green in Durham. Lush!

I need the ultimate romance novel to read on my honeymoon – do tell!!!!

Read the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. It’s time travel meets historical romance novel with hot scottish men…

hmmm, it depends on what genre of romance you want…

For thriller/mystery romances, I love Linda Howard (especially kill and tell, open season and dying to please!)

For beachy romance, anything by Elin Hilderbrand (my favorites are The Blue Bistro and The Island although both are a little sad)

For regency romance, anything by Mary Balogh (she has two great series, the Bedwyn Saga and the Huxtable Quintet)

For contemporary, Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie or Can You Keep A Secret? by Sophie Kinsella

For friends to lovers, That Boy (#1) and That Wedding (#2) by Jillian Dodd

For destination romance, the Escape to New Zealand series by Rosalind James (the first book is Just This Once)
