Gooey Goodness

Travel

So I’m pretty much obsessed with Charlottesville now.  There’s so many cute nooks! After breakfast we all took a family walk to the UVA campus and back…

While I showered, Kath and Kanz assembled an awesome lunch.  I requested the famous cheddar and jam sandwich with a salad on the side.  It was so fun eating this on the porch in the fresh country air.

We kept lunch a little lighter because we had plans to eat the famous…

…gooey brownie!!! SOOOOO amazing!  I had mine over vanilla yogurt and loved every bite.

After arriving at the Amtrak station, I found out that my train was three hours behind schedule, so I ended up taking a bus to DC instead of the train.  I actually made a friend on the bus and chatted the whole time, so the three hours went by pretty quickly.  I got to the city a little bit later than I had planned, but it all worked out in the end.  More on my night out in DC in the morning. I must get to bed!

Cool you made a friend. Sometimes I don’t chat because I worry about then having to talk the whole time. I guess I need to learn to be more open!

Adore the brownie batter. I’ve been on the sweets kick of the century, so that sounds like a lovely afternoon adventure!
