Thoughts from a Thursday:

Cooking

-I never thought 55 degrees would feel tropical. I’ll take it.

-Listening to music at work made me 10x more productive today.

-It’s weird to think that this time next year I have absolutely no idea what kind of job I might have.

-I miss springtime at Davidson

-I need new aviators; any recommendations for good ones?

-I’m making a rule that spring shopping is allowed to commence March 1st, even if it’s 30 degrees out.

-I’m starting the novel Sarah’s Key this weekend; anyone read it?

-This recipe from Cooking Light rocked.

-Feb. break officially starts tomorrow. Wheeeeee!!!!!!!

Sarah’s Key is wonderful, I hope you like it! It is sad, but I really enjoyed it. That author has a second book out also, but I did not like it as much 🙂

I like forever 21’s aviators ’cause they’re cheap so you can get 3 kinds.

Sarah’s Key is good! Quick read.

Sarah’s Key is pretty good and super quick to read, like another person noted.. there’s some great jaw-dropping moments in it. PS I’m totally with you on the 55 degrees being tropical now haha depressing kinda but i’ll take it! 😉

Target also has a really cute pair of aviators out right now…they were around $14. Don’t worry too much about the job stuff. It will fall into place 🙂

Yup, I read Sarah’s Key in about two days, it was so good! I also read a similar book, called Those Who Save Us, that I also recommend. I wrote reviews of both books awhile back here: http://newlywedindc.blogspot.com/2009/07/dual-book-review-sarahs-key-and-those.html
