1. My husband and I went to NOLA in October and loved the food as well – Did you have the .25 martinis at Commander’s? Apparently they are famous for serving them with lunch….

  2. This food looks unbelievable! My husband and I were supposed to go to NOLA around the same time, but something came up and we were unable to go. I can’t wait to reschedule and experience some of this culinary delight!

      Yeah, I definitely felt self conscious about my big legs in those! But, hey, new years is one of the only times you get to wear tight, flashy stuff!!

  3. I have bookmarked all of your food places — why? Because I just got an interview for a residency program and I must experience all things food while there! P.S. Would you mind sharing where you guys stayed while there or if you know of a good place (doesn’t have to be fancy, just warm water and no bugs haha). I’m nervous because I’m going during Mardi Gras and many places will certainly be booked up 🙁

      We stayed at the Residence Inn just because it was free (with points). It was fine, but a little far from the action of the French Quarter. We probably walked 30 minutes to and from each day, but it’s probably worth it for a cheaper hotel. Have fun!
