Scenes from NC

Hi friends,

We are back at home in Texas after a lovely trip to visit friends and family in North Carolina, both at our alma mater and at the beach. As we traveled back from the coast to Charlotte to catch our flight, we learned of the horrifying news in Orlando on Sunday. It’s such a sad time for our country, and it’s disheartening that things only seem to be getting worse. We also learned of my dear aunt Pat passing away while we were at the beach, and then received some sad news from a friend this week. Needless to say, I don’t have a lot of words for this post, so I’ll leave you with pictures from our trip.
