I had to work on Thursday, but my mom was able to be at home to meet the carpet cleaners and mosquito guy so that my house was ready for the birthday party (and the market…). Work days always fly by, but I tried to stop and think about my labor and visited Emerson in the nursery

It’s time for another update, aw this girl and been out in the world as long as she was growing in the womb! The most exciting thing is that Emerson started crawling just before her 9 month birthday! She’s moving all over the house and putting everything in her mouth. I don’t know how she can spot a small speck of dirt from across the room, but she’s been eating hairs, old crumbs, leaves, and other disgusting things that end…
On days I stay at home, I want to be a working mom, and on days I’m at work, I want to be a stay at home mom. I let Emerson chew on my hair and then hide the crusty ends in a bun for work. Hi Friends, How’s it going? Here’s our 6 month update: We had some major regression this month – both with falling asleep for naps and staying asleep at night. The good news is, we’ve been doing some sleep training to help with the wake-ups, and Emerson has slept through the night (well, until 5am) a few nights in a row this week. Hello! We’re back from our spring break trip to MD and FL. Despite a few low points, we had a great time. Airplane travel went great with Emerson, but all three of us got a cold during the first half of the trip. Needless to say, sleep was difficult.
