What Are You Celebrating?

Life Ramblings

…is the question my yoga teacher posed tonight, and man do I have answers for her.

I’m celebrating that my body can do yoga; that I get to fill it with giant bowls of food for dinner each night; and that I alleviated my digestive issues.

I’m celebrating that Christmas break starts one week from tomorrow, and I am able to go home to NC.

I’m celebrating that Raphael finally told Jane that he made a mistake on Jane the Virgin!

I’m celebrating that I don’t have to do homework or study for tests on weekends, and that I get a paycheck at the end of the month.

I’m celebrating that it’s Friday eve and it’s supposed to be sunny and 77 tomorrow.

I’m celebrating that I’m living the dream in the US, even if there is a lot of animosity towards the west right now.

I’m celebrating the end of another day with a peanut butter dipped date and HGTV.

I’m celebrating more than I can type in this post. You?

I’m celebrating that I will be moving to Oklahoma in June and that it’s unexpectedly exactly where I want to be!

I’m celebrating that I have a family who is visiting this Christmas. I’ve recently made friends with a woman who is 65 and has no relatives. No kids, parents, husband, siblings, nieces or nephews or even close cousins.

I am celebrating the rains in California, I am celebrating gratitude, I am celebrating the love of my family and friends during a difficult time, and I am, most impotantly, celebrating this gift we call life.
