For once, the long weekend actually felt really long! I realized Matt hasn’t had a day off where we stayed in Brooklyn since Christmas, so it was wonderful to just relax at home for an extra day. Heeyyy, I spent the week down in North Carolina, and I just couldn’t get over how green it is. And we had bright blue skies Monday-Saturday. Aside from two flight cancellations, a crying baby who didn’t want me on the phone and computer, and waiting all day to figure out my plans, the actual solo plane ride went well.
