Thoughts from a Thursday

How goes it out there?

-I cannot believe this babe will be one next week!!! She is testing all the limits over here and wants to climb everything!!

-We’re on a real home improvement kick over here (isn’t everyone?) and I’m going down the rabbit hole of paint colors for the interior. Our house is currently painted Pure White, and while I always thought I’d leave it as is, I think we may need a less intense white or a super light, warm gray. Our house isn’t super sunny and we get a lot of shadows that make it seem dingy – does that make sense?

-Anyone else watching Normal People? I have a love-hate with the show because it skips around and I can never understand what they are saying, but it’s sooo good.

-Emerson loves helping Avery these days. Matt and Em went to get her up from a morning nap and A came down dressed in a Christmas outfit:)

-It’s been nice getting back into somewhat of a routine (sore subject since this isn’t the case for many right now:(). Emerson is loving school but is coming home so exhausted that she’s melting down often, so I’m hoping she’ll adjust soon to the demands soon.

-I’m loving this recipe for salmon burgers and it has become a regular in our rotation.
