A few things I’ve been loving lately:
– J Crew PJ’s – I was tired of sleeping in random nursing shirts and now that Avery isn’t eating in the middle of the night, I treated myself to some new pajamas. I’ll pretty much only sleep in jersery cotton with loose waistbands, so these are perfect. I need to get a long sleeved pair to replace my giant pregnancy pajamas.
-Ithaca Hummus – this is seriously the best store bought hummus I’ve ever had! I used to buy it in Brooklyn and rediscovered it since we’ve been shopping at Publix. I eat one per tub week by myself:)
– Cream Highlighter – I love the luster of this – it can be used on it’s own as a cream blush or gives extra shimmer on top of powder blush.
– Matt working from home – at first, this was stressing me out because I was always on kid duty and trying to keep the noise down. But now, we seem to be in a good rhythm and Emerson understands the rules (most of the time). Plus, I think it’s totally acceptable these days to have kid noise in the background. I love that he sometimes has lunch with us, cuts up an apple for a snack that I steal every afternoon, and often plays with Em from 5-7 before going back to work.
– Purely Elizabeth Granola – I know I’m not the only person obsessed with this granola! I had forgotten about it for a while and then ordered some from Thive Market. I just eat it by the handfuls (anyone else eat the clusters first?)
– Cerebelly Pouches – I just ordered some of these for Avery and I really like that they have some different flavors than the baby foods I typically find at Whole Foods – plus, with groceries these days, it’s nice to just have these shipped (although I feel guilty shipping too much stuff)
– Glennon Doyle’s Untamed – currently reading and enjoying – I love a good book about life!

May 7, 2020 at 3:27 pmI tried the Ithaca hummus today (same flavor) and it is so good! And half the price of the cava hummus which was $10!

May 8, 2020 at 7:06 amThis is a genuine question (just aware things can sound different when written down rather than typed), but how many hours does Matt generally work in a day/week? It sounds like his hours are extremely long. That must be so difficult! (My husband works standard 40-50hr per week and I do something like 15 maybe. So it feels like you’re in a really intense situation)

May 8, 2020 at 9:54 amI’d say his average day is 10 hours but then some days are lighter and more like 8 hours. It’s not too bad especially because he’s not traveling or going into an office so his days are more flexible.

May 9, 2020 at 5:29 pmThank you for your favorite lists. I am gluten free so I like to see what you are eating. I am going to run to Target later today to see if they have the Purely Elizabeth’s grain free granola and Ithaca hummus. They look so delicious.
